GAME Oklahoma vs Auburn

I’m not hiding behind anything. You asked what OU was going to do. The point is they have a guy that was highly thought of nationally. He also has OU blood so he wants to be there. Obviously if he doesn’t work out they will move on, like literally every program in the country have to do. Riley leaving when he did was the perfect storm due to nil. We are much better off but there are going to be some struggles. The defense is well on the way to looking like a Venables defense though, I’ll take that for now.
Yeah man I'd much rather lose a game 17-13 vs 56-52.

Poor Damn Eagle. They better figure out something quick or they might not win another football game this year.

... as a matter of fact, if the weather forces you DB's to have several drops, we might have our only chance.

Playing in the remnants of a hurricane. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to have a built in excuse for losing a game. "Dear Playoff Committee. Forget 28-7. Only an act of God kept us from winning that game".

Meh, just another football season. My rabid fandom is gone. Trolling for lulz not fun anymore. No more skin in the game per se. Just glad I’m on the right side of the dirt for now.

This attitude will serve you well as your program sinks into mediocrity. The important thing is to enjoy a beverage while looking up at the game occasionally, while you read a good book

Ditto.

Fortunately for us, high winds and heavy rain should not affect our offense at all ...
Nonsense, it will make the ball harder to intercept when our quarterback throws a perfect pass right to a defensive back.

I remember a game a few years back, think it was between NC State and Notre Dame, was played in the remnants of a hurricane. That was fun.

Don’t care for Gin, but thanks for the offer.

Just wait until we try to run the ball…cue Benny Hill zany chase montage with Yakety Sax playing.

As a fan of a team with great experience in losing, I'll take either one of those four point losses. As long as we don't get blown out and stay in games with a chance to win one, I don't care if they are low scoring or high scoring.
