GAME Oklahoma vs Auburn

Just wait until we try to run the ball…cue Benny Hill zany chase montage with Yakety Sax playing.
You'd only get about 3 notes of the song in before the RB is smothered by 7 defenders.

Nonsense, it will make the ball harder to intercept when our quarterback throws a perfect pass right to a defensive back.
Yes, BUT if the wind blows the ball off trajectory, it won't go right to their DBs.

Guys, we're all football fans on the Hoop so we can agree on one thing OK? When your eyes are caked shut by the puddle of dried puke you woke up in, when a bookie leaves you with only $0.25 and a skate key as current assets and you would eat a child on live TV to turn the clock back 24 hours, we are taking these losses way too seriously.

Looks like it's going to affect the Georgia @ Alabama game too
And damnit. I hate this. I already have a hundred things to do that day. My wife gets even a hint this game is in jeopardy of being played, that list might grow to 200.

I remember a game a few years back, think it was between NC State and Notre Dame, was played in the remnants of a hurricane. That was fun.
And many, many years ago, Texas A&M visited Lane Stadium in the midst of one. That game was nasty.

Auburn 3 Oklahoma 0.

I remember listening to the 1974 Auburn @ Miami (Fla.) Game on the radio on a Friday Night - which was played in Hurricane like conditions in the old Orange Bowl Stadium.

The Tigers won 3-0.

So, I will go with that for this weekend.

First down has been a big problem for OU all year. Last week was really bad. OU had just seven yards, three turnovers and a safety on 15 first-down attempts, with 12 of those attempts recording zero or negative yardage.

I thought those days were over when we got rid of Kevin, run it up the middle, Wilson.

It's all good. First down is over rated anyway. At least Jackson Arnold is getting paid a million dollars so he isn't being exploited by The Man. I take a lot of comfort in that. This NIL thing and a wide open portal are really showing some good results. And it's bound to just get better as we also make things right for other players who have the sad misfortune of being forced to play sports in college.

The orange bowl was a toilet

Guys, Auburn is awful and Oklahoma appears to at least have found their QB to go along with a very good defense. The magic of Jordan Hare and freakishly lucky endings seems to be gone, probably traded by Hugh Freeze for hookers.

It's all Okie this weekend.

I've never see anything like this though. On top of the O line injuries literally our top 5 wr are out.

Nik Anderson
Deion Burkes
Jalill Farooq
Jayden Gibson
Andrel Anthony

That's a ton of firepower! Jaques Pettaway is nursing a hamstring.

Yet you are still a 2.5 point favorite, on the road, in an SEC matchup. Let that sink in when evaluating us as opponents.
