OREGON arriving in the B1G will create changes

Husky stadium will never push up toward 100k. They value the view of the water and Mt Rainier way too much to block it with bulk seating. They'd have to drop their "The greatest setting in college football" thing. In fact, they lost some seating in the last reno in favor of adding better amenities.

Can't wait to see Ohio State, Penn State, Iowa on the lake. I've already seen Nebraska, MSU, Michigan, Illinois, etc.
SailGate … you guys have the best stadium. 100% superior to that toilet bowl in Columbus.

👍. BYU’s stadium is scenic too. Come to think of it, the Sun Bowl ain’t bad either…but you have to like rocky, desert mountains.

They can have those big ass stadiums. I’d rather watch a game in TCU’s or Baylor’s stadiums than Texas’ or A&M’s.

The view was even better before they added the north upper deck and 13k more seats back in '87. So when demand was high enough, adding seats and taking away from that view became a higher priority.

Now, they kept those 70k plus seats sold out through their run of the 90's and they had no further plans to add more and close off the water facing side.

Do I like the view from the stadium and how impressive the trip in is by boat? Absolutely, but at the end of the day you are there to watch high level college football and once the ball is snapped you aren't watching boats out at a logjam.

They could add an upper tier to the east end zone and not change the view of the water and mountains for those seats that currently have it. That would require them to remove the coaches offices and the view it affords recruiting efforts. It's a hell of a view for visiting kids to watch practice and live games. Having their facilities at the top of that end zone does bring value.

If the demand was there, they have options to add more seating but sacrifices would have to be made for that money grab. It will be interesting to see if anything changes down the road now with this conference realignment.

Uniforms are a recruiting tool - has been since they have players input on the design since the mid 2000’s. This is a topic you obviously are not in tune with.
For crying out loud -- if you think kids are making their decisions based on fashion choices, you are beyond clueless. Say it with me clearly -- NIKE MONEY. That is why they go to Oregon.

Remove Phil Knight from Oregon and Oregon would absolutely irrelevant and their biggest game every year would be against Oregon State. Please tell me you understand this.

Hey, wait a minute. I think you just threw a rock at us. The Sun Bowl holds about 54,000 thousand!!!🤬
54k is what G5 schools should have for their stadiums or bottom feeders in P5. I wasn't trying to call out anyone else.

Yeah, the Ducks give their costume changes too much credit, imo.

I'm sure that they don't hurt their recruiting efforts, and, on some level, they may even be considered a positive by some recruits.

But I seriously doubt they have near the impact that some Ducks fans want to attribute to them.

Oregon routinely ranks number 1 for college football facilities in the country. They don't care about uniforms when they are being recruited

Kids going there for the uniforms explains a lot about their lack of success as a program.

Adam Gorney, a national recruiting analyst for Rivals, one of the top recruiting analysis sites, has been looking at the recruiting process both before and after the advent of these uniform changes. Uniforms have a substantial effect on recruits choosing which program to play for, he said.

“I think uniform combinations and having all of that kind of stuff is definitely one factor in many factors in recruiting,” Gorney said. “There’s a reason why when kids go on visits, the new big thing is to take photoshoots in all kinds of uniform combinations. It’s to sell those recruits, but also to kind of influence other kids who are scrolling through social media to kind of follow along.”

Just FYI.

I have the biggest smile on my face when I read a USC fan talk about recruiting and Oregon. We are absolutely owning USC in recruiting and our move to the B1G is a thorn in the Trojans side. Can't escape us.

lol

My favorite thing is you thinking USC gives a shit about Oregon.

Just because you guys cry for attention, doesn't mean anyone actually listens.

Since Chip Kelly ran Pete Carroll out of Autzen Stadium and into the NFL you guys have not been able to sustain a winning record vs us.

You guys begged the B1G to not add us, yet they didn't listen to you and here we are.

Since 2010 we have taken some major recruits right out of your own backyard.

My favorite thing is USC fans denying they don't have an Oregon problem, but knowing they know they do.
