Not really. Exactly what we’ve been saying for months. The ACC stuff is just noise IMO. Everything else is going to chalk. The networks aren’t giving prorate shares if you added anyone.
Good luck with that. It will take years and no one takes them until they are clear of the GOR.We'll see. I think there's legit smoke here. I'm not predicting this to break at the same time as the PAC information but I don't think FSU is going to wait out this contract.

Looks like the B10 is waiting for the other teams to bolt to the B12, and then scoop up 2-4 teams having already had talks with them.
Oh damn, that escalated quick:
As I said, a Diva college
Reports are that UW is saying they are only leaving the Pac if Oregon does. Zona has their meeting a few hours before UW's and they are saying similar things.
Looks like everyone is on edge and none want to pull the trigger first.
Even if the B1G offers only half shares to UW and Oregon it will still be more money than Pac at the base all share the same that is likely.
If Pac doesn't offer higher shares to both I can't see them staying.
The actual number isn't known. They say it could be closer to B12 money.I heard the pac share with apple would be around 20 mill.

Not really, whatever check the BIG / SEC cuts to FSU or Clem, it's their money. The way I understand it is that the ACC GOR means ESPN owns the TV rights to ACC Home games and the ACC schools get compensated for those broadcast. That means if Clem / FSU were to jump to the BIG, FOX wouldn't make a dime off of their home games (but make money when FSU/Clem travels up north) meaning the BIG wouldn't get much of a raise for adding them.If I'm correct regarding the ACC GOR being able to take future media rights when a team goes to another conference.....
If Clemson and FSU break the GOR and go to the Big 10 or SEC, the ACC could take their Big 10 distributions.
$75 million x 2 = $150 million/year to distribute to the remaining 12 ACC teams.
That's a $12.5 million per year raise for each remaining ACC school.
Ain't no one staying with a 100% streaming deal that might just equal the B12 if they meet subscription goals.Reports are that UW is saying they are only leaving the Pac if Oregon does. Zona has their meeting a few hours before UW's and they are saying similar things.

I think we'll know tonight after some of the meetings happening tonight for Arizona and ASU. If that domino falls, it will all explode tomorrow.I would expect some quick announcements so the focus isn't on one school "breaking up the PAC".
Arizona, ASU, Utah to the Big 12. Oregon and UW to the Big Ten. Both feel inevitable at this point.
Nobody is signing the PAC's deal. It's hard to decipher but people I trust say the expected # with incentives is around 22M. That's not enough, especially for an all streaming deal. Big Ten will probably put UW and Oregon on the Maryland/Rutgers/Nebraska plan. But the offer will likely be more than the PAC or Big 12 so it's a long term win for both Oregon and Washington.
