GAME Oregon vs USC for the PAC-12 Championship

lol @ claiming losses to 'inferior teams', particularly that late in the season.

If that helps you sleep better through the offseason then by all means keep telling yourself that.

And arguing with OD is a joy many share on this site. He's comedy gold.

I’m not even sure what you’re arguing about in your sentence. Oregon blew their season by losing twice to inferior teams. You could blame Lanning for bad decisions, you could blame it on the Nix injury, the bad defense, etc. Ultimately doesn’t matter. Nothing that’s gonna happen in the Holiday or Vegas Bowl is going to change that

How do you derive Washington and Oregon St being "inferior teams".

Washington has more wins and less losses. Oregon St has the same record.

It’s true. In both games Oregon outgained their opponents and had the OS game won before critical mistakes. It’s not meant to “sleep better”. Honestly, it makes it worse as a fan.

Then you also can say you beat a better team in Utah right? It's nonsense that doesn't mean anything.

Ducks lost 3 games on the year and deserved all of them.

I would agree that Utah is a better team than Oregon and Utah fans would be right to say they blew that game.

And of course all the wins and losses are deserved, nobody claimed otherwise.

Oregon blew their season by losing twice to inferior teams.

UW lost to an inferior team in ASU. Utah lost to a vastly inferior team in UF. UCLA lost to an inferior team in Arizona.

UW & ORST aren’t inferior to Oregon. You could argue that they choked in both games. But the gap between all three teams is almost nothing.

Nothing funny about it and you likely won't be laughing when a bigger bowl fights to get Oregon and skips uw.
Avatar bet time! If UW ends up in a higher tier bowl than oregon, I get to choose your avatar until week one next year, if oregon gets a higher bowl, you choose mine.

Yes?

your derpy coach doing dumb shit that led to losing games you might otherwise have won does not make oregon superior to the team they lost to… it just means your coach is a dumbass.

I didn’t argue that they were vastly inferior. But Oregon was a better team throughout the season. But as we all know, the better team doesn’t always win. That’s why we play them

lol

So, Oregon was a better team all season than a team that finished with a better record than them and beat them in their own house and also better than a team that finished with the same record and also beat them.

Duck lawjik at its finest.

That's called the Oregon "eye test", they don't have cool uni's and nothing as cool as SKOOOOO DUCKSSSSSS!!!!

Oregon started the season showing they are no where near able to compete with a great team. They looked good against scrub teams, and on par with decent teams. Your best win was Utah, and your coach and team did everything they could to give that one away too. You have no business claiming Oregon was any kind of better throughout the season.

I feel pretty confident in saying if Oregon, UW, and Utah just played eathother a handful of times throughout the year, we'd come out of it without a clear picture of who the best team is. And if any of those teams do get an edge it's probably Utah because they can play defense. And if any team loses an edge, it's Oregon because your coach is a straight up clown.

Utah to the Rose
USC will get the NY6 bowl invite.

Washington is already an afterthought to many. Whichever is the "better" bowl, Alamo or Holiday, the better bowl will want Oregon.
Also, where the fuck is this guy? We got a bet to finalize.

Speaking of schedules, UW was also given a gift by avoiding playing USC and Utah. I wonder if that and the fact they didn’t play a single bowl eligible team in their OOC inflated their record…
