I knew this old Asian guy long ago. He was a handyman at my apartment complex. Pretty funny dude, a hell of a karate expert.
He spent his later years mentoring this dumb ass kid that moved in. Such a little jerk that some boys at his high school regularly kicked his ass over a girl until the old man interceded and got the kids to stop bullying. He even managed to teach the little runt a little karate. The kid thought he was special when he performed an illegal kick to the head to win a tournament. Got kinda locally famous for an illegal move. But in the end, the boy kept doing stupid stuff and IMO drove the nice old guy into an early grave.
