I see what you're saying but let me ask you this question. Would you rather watch Bama/Arkansas at 6pm on ESPN and ends around 930/10pm or Washington vs Stanford at 11pm on Fox that ends around 2/2:30am.
You're correct and the reason is the Pac doesn't have a good tv contract to showcase the entire league. That alone hurts in the recruiting effort. A kid on the east coast may see 1 or 2 Oregon games, 1 Washington game and 1 of the California schools while they see bama, OSU, Clemson etc almost every week cause of the network deals those conferences made to expose these teams nationally. More national exposure will lead to better recruiting and the Pac doesn't really have that which is why the Pac has been on the slide.Definitely the first of the list but also East Coast games that play at 12:00 EST start in the morning out West. I see what you are saying though. Still the major games will be shown around lunchtime under current Pac12 TV title. There just isn't many GREAT teams in the Pac12 at the moment. People watch Alabama because they are a national title contender. The Pac12 doesn't have one at the moment.
Lol you are never going to convince me on El Paso. But I’ve conceded I’ve only gone twice and it was for the Sun Bowl and it sucks during Christmas.Ah come on wazzu. You've got to admit this is scenic!

That was the catch 22 and why Larry Scott sucks at his job. Even going into trying to snag the Big 12 South his whole pitch was getting unopposed exposure. College football fans didn’t choose to watch crappy B1G, Big 12, ACC and SEC games over good Pac 10 games, they watch whatever games are good. Larry Scott has always been about equality which doesn’t work in a world where 2 of 26 of however many sports brings in revenue. The lack of interest is because of the poor promoting of the schools. If he had planned out a much better TV deal and had schools playing 4 or 7pm eastern time, the country would be able to see what these teams can do. Since the tv deal is garbage, most of the country rarely sees these teams. Pac12 in the dark is a joke and most of the country are already asleep. USC being good won't help the pac12 until a new TV deal, a better TV deal is reached.

What provider is the PAC hooked up with or are they an extension of fox? If so you should be able to get it through Comcast? You’d have to pay a little more (probably the whole sport package) but you can probably get it.It looks like I might be moving to Pennsylvania soon. Is it possible to get PAC 12 Network on the East Coast or is that a lost cause?

Ohh you can definitely get it here then. But yeah, you’ll have to pay more unfortunately. It might not be too much though I’m not really sure. I get the B1G and ACC networks and my bill is like $125 just for cable. (WiFi is on there too so it makes it almost $175 a month). It sucks but it’s worth it if ya love sports.I got PAC 12 Network through Comcast in Oregon. I'm just not sure if they carry it on the East Coast. I'm sure you're right though, they will add for an extra cost. I really wish YouTubeTV had the PAC 12 Network.

And, most people don't like El Paso when they first arrive...including me. Which is a real problem with recruiting. However, after they've been there a while, they love it as indicated by how many retired military are there after stints at Fort Bliss. And a lot of UTEP students stay after graduation. But at first, no way.
Well then El Paso has a leg up on Pullman because the entire town is students and academics. It is a real college experience which is why Cougs aren’t really a fan base, it’s a family even if you hate person individually. But also why starting in the fall is terrible for us because you cannot make the day trip to Pullman in the winter. That picture was taken between the tropical towns of Odessa and Monahans. 280 miles east of EP.

The Pac12 is fucked as long as this guy is in charge. That was the catch 22 and why Larry Scott sucks at his job.
