PAC News

Yeah if I were the PAC I would backfill with SDSU, SMU, UNLV and Boise St.. It's not going to be a premier conference but should still be able to get $15-$20 mil per school.. plus the cut of the CFP expansion money.

It's fine as a backfill to try to keep things alive. But acting like OD and pretending like those schools are going to bring the Pac 12 to big power is comical.

Are the academia elites of the PAC suddenly going to change course and share a conference with UNLV and Boise?

Lord knows the BigXII has no standards when they let bumblefuck WVU in

You are so ruined by me you have to bring my school up it's hilarious.

But answer the question Oscar, will teams like UNLV and Boise really share a conference with the likes of Stanford, Cal and Washington?

Washington and Oregon are likely already gone.

Neat, then take them out of the question but the question still stands.

Are teams like UNLV and Boise really going to share a conference with the likes of Stanford and Cal?

Couldn't care less what the rest of those losers do.

If UNLV joined the Pac 12 right now they would be a mess and win maybe 1-3 games per year. THAT is not going to attract anyone.
they won 5 last year so....
book the FCS game. then the teams they have beat in recent years like North texas Utep Vanderbilt maybe a former MW opponent like Hawaii or Nevada in the non conference. after that in like 3 years or so yeah they may still be at the bottom or they could be a bowl team hard to say

5 was the most they've won since 2017. Their star RB transferred to BYU and they lost a lot of other key players to the portal/graduation as well. Doubt they repeat that.

They had a player transfer to BYU tells me that player simply did not mesh well with the Las Vegas life.

I wish UT would schedule UNLV every year on the 2nd or 3rd saturday in September.. catch a game then a fight

Naw dude, isn't enticing at all. Nothing is growing in UNLV and UNLV stands zero chance to ever grow into anything. Not like they have endless potential right within their own city. Catch a game in Columbus and go down to their local Stihl store, I heard they have great discounts in September.

Play in front of sold out crowds of 100K+ in Columbus every Saturday on national spotlight TV or play in a 2/3rd empty stadium in Vegas with zero TV exposure. Hard choice!
