PAC12 Basketball

Cal picks up a nice win against San Diego.

Washington and ASU in right games against bad teams again. Probably will pull them out though.

Oregon State losing by 2 with under a minute left to Tulsa who's supposed to finish near the bottom of the AAC

Yeah, I just don't think Oregon State is going to be any good. Losing Thompson was a huge loss.

So much of their offense ran through Thompson. Either getting his own shots and or getting other guys open. Without him, they look lost offensively. Tinkle is a good coach though, I expect he'll figure it out at some point. Probably just in time to beat people in conference play

USC's OOC schedule is super interesting to me. True road games at Temple and FGCU. They play 2 neutral site games in the Wooden Classic. Then play Ga Tech in Phoenix and Oklahoma State in Oklahoma City. Only a total of 5 home games. They are going to have very strong metrics, assuming they take care of business. But all those are extremely winnable.

Yeah, USC is definitely trying to "game the system" a bit. I don't blame them, it's how the game is set up. As you said, those games aren't super tough but they'll get a lot of credit for winning.

I'm used to it at this point in the season. Bunch of kids that haven't played together before and need to learn to work together.

I'd be more worried if this was happening in February.

I would have been prepared for it but Oregon played exceptionally well vs SMU. I guess it wouldn’t be Oregon basketball without a painfully ugly loss in November

lets go Ducks

i believe in you brothers

This is painful because of how Oregon is playing, but not because of the opponent. BYU is a good team.

finished last year #20 on kenpom. #38 right now, but you have to figure they're going to move up

BYU is very good.

Exactly. If Oregon was playing like this vs Texas Southern, I'd be worried.

Oregon State takes an L to Samford.

It’s shocking how bad Oregon looks on offense with 4 all conference guys in the starting lineup

They start slow every once and a while under Altman. They'll figure it out and probably make the S16 again for like the 5th straight season, or whatever it would be.

Im hoping that’s all this is. Oregon is known for slow starts. But this is really bad
