He made his mark, but dying young tends to cause an artist’s impact to be overstated. Think Eddie Cochran died in a car crash in his early 20’s.

it was way before my time and I was never a fan of rock and roll...it was ok, but I actually preferred the big band era better than rock and roll.

Take elvis for instance. The guy was a great front man. But pedestrian as a musician.

Rock required musicians to be talented.

Elvis was trash. Carl Perkins was great though. Jerry Lee Lewis was a creep, but a great musician

She was like 1/8 black. Mostly Sicilian. Their daughter, Roseanne is whiter than Johnny and Edgar Winter

Edgar winter "They only come out night" was another album my friends dad had. That was a fun album.
