Yeah, the combined scores of round 1 are winning team: 135 and losing team: 54. And some weren't even that close. I am not going to say they were all boring. Most had its moments. I love long passes, defenders getting the backfield and feasting, offense in a 3rd and long situation and getting the 1st down. Looking at final scores will show what usually happens in first round play of a lot sports .

As I've said if I was king of the NCAA I'd get rid of all the bowls and make a 16 team NIT and then probably another 16 team tourney with just mid majors.
Gets exposure to mid majors and when you put all those brackets together you get casuals who pay attention for work bracket contests
