So tired of seeing position players out there throwing batting practice and acting like the game is all about them having fun.

No fans are left in the stands when a game requires a position player to pitch. Save the pen when you’re losing by 10. Only boomers and homosexuals disagree
 
This is why MLB needs to Insert a run-rule. If a team is losing by more than 8 after 7 innings then the game is over

We’re lucky Manfred hasn’t enacted a Yield or White Towel rule yet.

When a game is out of reach, nobody should care who is pitching.

Those couple of games per season are why. You want a runs per inning limit too? I think ours was 7 per inning as a kid

What gets me the worst is how everyone is laughing while it’s happening. Pitcher, batter, broadcasters, managers, fans, both dugouts.

It disrespects the game of baseball and if I’d paid good money to attend, I’d demand a refund.

I mean, is it competitive to begin with when a position player comes in to pitch with his team down 10?

You empty the bench and try to save the pen as much as possible in those games.
