You're not wrong about Tressel, I won't argue that, but I still think since it involved multiple players it would've been more than a slap on the wrist.

The players would have been given a couple game suspension, I'm sure, but nothing like you guys got. Lying to the NCAA compliance office is what screwed Ohio. That is why Tressel ended up losing his job.

I definitely agree. That's why I can't imagine why michigan fans think they're going to just gonna get a slap on the wrist for what's happening. If the NCAA has anything at all, they're going to remember the fact that Harbaugh and his staff were completely uncooperative when it comes to the punishment phase.

If this were 2011, Michigan fans would have to be really worried. It's not. The NCAA doesn't have nearly the pull it used to

We haven't seen anything close to this scope in a long time, so I'm not sure what you'd even have to compare it to in regards to talking about the NCAA's power to act.

I mean, that was over a decade ago, and they actually found that they hadn't committed academic fraud so they didn't punish them. That's obviously not going to be the case here.
