I mean, stairs are stairs.Pretty much every two story house in my area built in the past 15 years has a downstairs main bedroom. Allows you to age in place.

Scuse me? That's offensiveWhat's going on with the Braves this season?
No basements in Dallas. There’s ground level and upstairs. In my house, the main and guest are on the ground level and the kids rooms are upstairs.I mean, stairs are stairs.
Unless by "downstairs", you mean the main level?
There is no "ground level" in my place. You either have to go upstairs to the second level (then upstairs to the third) or downstairs to the first. It's an olds free blueprint. No basements in Dallas. It’s a regional thing. They’re popular in some parts of the country (mostly the Midwest and Northeast). The rest of the country doesn’t have a lot of them.Yea, splits.
Pretty much 90% of the builds in the 2010s around here are bi or tri level splits. All cookie cutters.
