Predict the Final Poll

“I know they didn’t win as many games that mattered, but they won more games that didn’t matter”

Dumbest fucking argument in the history of arguments.
Youre setting yourself up for disappointment

Bizzaro world.

Regular season and CCG's no longer matter.

Teams that didn't make the play-offs are equal to teams that made the playoffs but were winless in the playoffs.

Nope, but teams that were winless in the playoffs are below those who won in the playoffs. It ain’t hard.

Except that's not making a case for ranking tejas over Georgia.

tejas beat #12 Arizona St?

Is that the case?
You need the see-spot-run version?

This was asking to predict what the final poll will be. That's different than what it should be.

So you can keep losing your mind over the predictions, but a guess is just a guess.

If the voters want to give more credit to how they did in the post season it's not hard to see where they might value Texas playing tough against the eventual winner and have that count more than Georgia losing against the eventual title game loser.

It doesn't matter if others find only head to head regular season as valid.

Maybe they will value that more.

We've seen plenty of cases where head to head didn't end up right in the year end poll so why expect them to get it right now with even more that can muddy up the water.

Revisionist history doesn’t suit you. All you highlighter fucks were googling trophy case construction plans all season.
Bullshit. I had Oregon losing to osu in the b1g ccg in every cfp projection until they lost to michigan.

Make up another story.

OK great.

Have we seen where a team is ranked ahead of another after losing to them TWICE?

Georgia also beat Clemson. By a considerably larger margin than tejas did.

What did tejas do on the entire season that Georgia hasn't done?

Answer: "tEjAs BeAT aRiZoNa St"
So, basically you’re valuing two regular season wins over two playoff wins. There’s a word for people who do that and that word is donkeycocktarded.

How’d they do in the spring game? Since we’re evaluating teams on unimportant games.

I'd seriously like to see the case made for this....

@Codaxx : #3 tejas #5 Georgia
@Jon Deaux : #3 tejas #6 Georgia
@WhosYourDawggy : #3 tejas #5 Georgia
@gobigred : #3 tejas #5 Georgia
@Voltaire : #4 tejas Georgia NR

Yes, Georgia beat Texas twice, but Texas went further in the playoffs. Texas 13-3 and Georgia 11-3.

Also, I respect where you are coming from, I just disagree.

Georgia vs tejas?

One was regular season and one was the SEC CCG which is considered 'post season'.

Had tejas redeemed those two losses in the CFP I could see ranking them above Georgia, but they didn't.

Right now you got "tEjAs BeAT aRiZoNa St".
