I think they are going to be better. Lots of young players got another year in the weight room and experience. I expect JT and Sawyer to be much more of a factor this season. Our defensive backfield depth is a major concern and I still don't think our LBs have another athleticism but I'm still expecting improvement. Now this top 10 or 5 defense the coaches are spouting is silly

Having a actual direction on defense will make them at least better alone. Last year there was basically no real DC and they were running what was about equal to a middle school defense with everyone confused.

They gotta be better than last season defensively. If they aren't it'll be a problem for another season.
