Preseason Coaches Poll

I'm also high on SMU, even jumping up to a better conference. I can see UF being a loss, but they also obviously have their issues. I think VT could absolutely beat them, Louisville and FSU will definitely be favored, and even the trip out to Cal isn't a guaranteed W (they actually knocked off Ward and WSU last season so they obviously know him well).

End of the day, we always end up seeing Miami get the hype and then eventually lose to the teams that have a pulse and even several who don't. Also, regarding Ward, just remember the season Tyler Van Dyke had in 2021 before Cristobal got there and ruined him.

I blame that more on Gattis being a shitty OC. The system Ward will be running will be very similar to what he's run in his career. I think for sure they've got 8 wins. Split the remaining 4 and they are 10-2. With that said, they could still disappoint, and finish 8-4 or something around there.

I'm not. I'm glad we passed on Ward, I don't think he's as great as some make him out to be. He's better than Van Dyke for sure but I don't think he's really a landscaping changing QB.

We hear every year how "THIS IS THE YEAR MIAMI IS BACK" ill believe it when I see it
No, no, no, no, no. That's Texas. Texas is back every year.
But if there truly ever was "the year",.............

I do think Miami wins the ACC this season... Van Dyke was awful to watch...sure they put him into some bad situations but..he created a lot of those himself

i'm ready to listen to my sooner neighbor bitch about being behind TN and Mizzu...let alone us lol
It doesn't mattter where you start, it's where you finish.

Lol woulda only taken them 20 years to finally do it if they do

Remember when Miami fans were boating that ACC = All Canes Conference back when they joined :pound: :pound: :pound: :pound:

0 ACC titles, only 1 ACC title game appearance. Same as DUke.

When was the last time Alabama didn't recieve a single first place vote???

Tough Schedule

Honestly with their talent Ohio State has the best path in the regular season and I'm not sold on Georgia because supposedly their D-Line is thin and they just aren't the same team without Brock Bowers.

Yeah, ranking and regular season took an importance hit with the 12-team playoff. I doubt it happens this year but we could see players start getting pulled late in the season to save them for the playoffs. It won't happen in rivalry games but eventually teams are going to start making business decisions.

I remember when Gattis was thought to be the next big thing as OC but man has he failed. Don't know much about Shannon Dawson, but he was the OC/playcaller last year as well and their offense was still pretty subpar considering the talent.

6 of OU’s opponents are in the top 15.

Hmm….

You noticed that huh? OU plays 6 SEC teams ranked above them while Texas plays 6 SEC teams ranked below them. They got that Michigan game though lol.

For all you fuckers who gave us shit about our schedule last year, we play

@ 4,5,6,
neutral 14
home 15

Michigan is the team that is going be the biggest disappointment. They will be unranked by EOY. Worse drop than the 2019 LSU NC.

UGA plays 3 of the top 6 on the road.

Bring it on

hey it's a built in excuse..Arnold is going to struggle and you can just point to your opponents record..

sadly, y'all gonna realize last season was set up to be a chance to be in the CFP... easiest schedule in the Big12 and even beat the best team in the Big12.. to only lose to underdog KU and okie light
