He did the Bonds transformation. It happened in 18 months. Went from normal to breeko block head in 18 months. How many times are you going to pretend like this didn’t happen?

Yet his HRs never jumped crazy like Bonds. Never was on any list. So his head got bigger and he kept hitting 40 HRs a year.

He’s definitely had access to better stuff since he returned to St. Louis.
can't hit righties anymore, but he's obliterating lefties. .204/.296/.377 against righties while he's hitting .359/.402/.767 with 12 of his homers coming against lefties

Anyway, stats show that Pujols and Aaron are the only players with both 700 HR and 3,000 hits.
take away all of Aaron's home runs and he still has over 3,000 hits. amazing
3,771 hits. Staggering for a power hitter.
