From the offensive standpoint Sark is twice the coach Saban is.

Saban beats you with talent not coaching.

Defense is another story but Saban hates to blitz because it hangs DBs out to dry so if you have a good line you can score.

The only teams I am glad we aren't playing is ohio state and an Angry Georgia. Alabama is a good team, but I still think Georgia is better. Florida State belongs.

Bama isn't what they've been at their best in the past, but they still have more than enough talent to beat anyone on any given day.

McCarthy is going to have to play a high level game to win, especially if Bama's run D shows up like it did against UGA.

You haven’t watched Georgia this year. They love to be down at halftime and their best player is a tight end.

How the teams are playing right now if UGA and Bama played best 3 out of 5, I think Bama still gets them.

I’ll say this though Texas looked great on Saturday and it seemed like Sark was just playing with Okie State and putting shit on film that he will never call in a real game but DCs are going to have to counter regardless. Absolutely brilliant prep.

Okie State had some of the worst defense i've ever seen on Saturday.

Same team that got blown out by South Alabama and UCF though. Give Texas credit for winning easily but it's hard to put much real stock into it.
 
I voted for Bama. Just too much winning history plus Saban for me to pick anyone else. Though I think the winner of that michigan-bama game is the frontrunner to win it.

I'll be rooting for Washington.

Problem with this Bama team is with the exception of Burton (who is a complete asshole) they seem to have chemistry and not worried about draft status for once. They also have one of the best FG kickers in the game. They are peaking at the right time.

I am actually not worried about any team. They all have the ability to beat us, but we have the ability to beat them as well. 4 weeks will allow us to heal a little bit, but at this point of the season everyone is dealing with major and minor injuries.

Milroe is not great overall as a QB but I think Michigan is going to have a hell of a time defending him from scrambling. They really haven't faced a QB near his running ability all year.

One game is not peaking ... they looked very beatable against Auburn and they should have lost (Hail Mary).

I hate making excuses for Bama as much as the next guy, but yea people keep going back to that game which is stupid. It had zero effect on Bama vs UGA and it will have zero effect on Bama vs Michigan

It's like in 2018, Ohio State needed to stop a 2 point conversion to survive a 5-7 Maryland team. The next week we beat Michigan 62-39 and knocked them out of the playoff. Sometimes otherwise good teams just lay a stinker against a team they shouldn't.
 
I am going against my boys on this one. Bama has been resilient and no one would like to see them win it all again more than me, but I dont think Saban can do much better on coaching up this team than he has done.

My thoughts on why.
OC is suspect in my opinion.
Offensive line worries me.
Defense can only carry you so far.
I know Saban is the master of taking advantage of these type situations, but I think Texas has a more well rounded team top to bottom.
Now if Bama gets past Michigan and its a Texas rematch, I may change my answer. Saban is the master of Revenge games.

Exactly. Bama against Auburn in BD or Jordan Hare is always a crap shoot. Shit just happens and records dont mean shit.
If they are going to look at a game, look at Bama against Georgia. Bama came to play and they still almost lost it.
