Storm surge is bad down there. Worst seems to be Punta Gorda but as far south as Naples it’s gone up.

Over 2M outages now.

That's a problem when rivers are draining and waters surging in. There's just no place for the water to go.

I mean, they were scheduled to begin building the new stadium in a couple months, not sure this really expedites that. Wondering if they will play at Steinbrenner, they could pretty much fit in the (actual) Rays attendance…

My initial thought was they would use a minor league or spring training stadium somewhere in Florida, maybe not even Tampa. But going to be a lot of delays and doubleheaders next year

Well they had TF set up for first responders.. there are like 1500 cots set up to house them during the storm and after.. guess those plans are now changed in a hurry!
 
Btw.. no power lost here that I'm aware of.. but had to wait an hour for my internet to come back this morning.

No.. the bay drained out.. winds were pushing the water out of the bay.. no storm surge in Tampa.. this was best case scenario for them!
