Its that time again.
Pac 2 up to Pac 6 and still need 2 more at least. who do they go for. I think they are done in the MWC other wise they would have not stopped at 4 as it is.
Mountain West down to 8 which is technically a viable conference but do they and should they stand? who sits to become the power?
If the Pac goes after AAC as a lot of talking heads have speculated what does the AAC do? I think at minimum they should take a shot at Air Force. The American conference with Air Force, Army and Navy. yeah

So left are Hawaii, SJSU, Utah State, Wyoming, Air Force, UNLV, Nevada and New Mexico, right?

I’m with you. I think they should stand pat unless they want some geographical additions. Maybe the four Dakotas, the two Montanas, Idaho?. Won’t help revenue but those are some good FCS football teams. They might move toward the mean if they elevated to FBS though.

should have just packed their bags and jointed the B12.

I maintain first and foremost this new PAC should continue to see what it's take for cal and Stanford to come back. Yeah I doubt they would but that'd be my first priority/play

I can tell you right the Army and Navy have zero desire to add west coast travel time for their Olympic sports. They would join the Sun Belt before they did that.

Money and they won’t have it.

Money and they won’t have it.
The next closest conference mate besides each other is 1700+ miles away currently. They aren't going to have any money anyway with those travel costs for every sport.

I honestly dont think it's so much about the money as it is being in a conference with the likes of Boise St (no offense broncos) and that horrible academic rank. They seem to really care about that up there.

My guess is both are locked in until 2036 and then the ACC as we know it folds. At that point they will look around.

They aren’t going back to the new PAC unless they have to.

That PAC doesn't get an autobid, does it?

Good point on the GoR

These six.
Bring back Cal/Stanford which will inevitably happen.
Add someone like UTSA and one other to get back to 10? :noidea:

Its like an hour more to get to AF as it is to get to UTSA or Tulsa. roughly
