Reunion Baseball Draft : CHAT

I don’t know if we’ve done this but we should run another draft after this with the same 12. We do our board version of the top 120 players of all time. We could also add a twist in that when you draft your guy, if you believe he was better than the guy drafted in front of you, you can jump him up one spot. This can be continually done so in theory a player could slide if everyone behind them believes their player was better.

Would create some drama around here in a good way.

2. Roberto Alomar (B) - 2B
3. Lance Berkman (B) - LF
4. Edgar Martinez (R) - DH
5. Turkey Stearnes (L) - CF
6. Don Mattingly (L) - 1B
7. Ivan Rodriguez (R) - C
8. Brooks Robinson (R) - 3B
9. Ozzie Smith (B) - SS

Sounds good. Again I hope the recent draft is not a 1-off thing and that we can be back here drafting again.

Yeah, gold gloves didn't start being awarded until 1957.

I don't think i'll be doing drafts like before but I don't mind coming back every few months to do one. I do get to missing you sonsabiches after a while!
 
Do we really need to have a playoff? I just wanted to draft again, I don't care who wins.

That's the best reason to vote. I was thinking who cares who wins, this is fun. I don't care who wins everyone is great

Voting has always sucked. And now it just got harder because some of us drafted negro league players who are impossible to quantify.

You have josh Gibson hitting clean up. If we are under the assumption that he is babe Ruth then you got a cheat code player. If we are assuming anything less, then he will probably hurt your team hitting cleanup.

kind of makes this even more pointless than it was before.

I say let’s just give femur the win and then do a reunion hockey draft.

Man, look, I've won my fair share of these. If you don't believe Gibson is a great hitter, don't vote for me, I seriously don't care if I lose in round 1. Personally, I never saw him play, but people who did claim he was in Ruth's caliber. I'm guessing he didn't suck

But that’s my point. It is fun to draft. It is fun to finally be able to draft negro league players. But it just makes voting even more meaningless than it already was.

and I think femur deserves to win this anyway.

Fine with me or we can do what Milk said and come back in a month and vote. If not, then we just enjoyed a draft. I’m down for another one
