Richard Sherman arrested and denied bail

Main thing I learned here is that at least one 911 dispatcher needs some sensitivity training. It would have taken the same amount of time to get the info through placation, and been better all around.

Sigh….I don’t like Richard Sherman, never have. But, I’m not dancing on this with my dislike for him. This is what football creates, and we are being reminded this time and again.

A judge in King County, Washington, ordered Richard Sherman to be released from custody on Thursday provided he promises to appear for future court hearings, including one Friday morning, among other conditions.

Yes, but Richard Sherman himself has already assured us he's not a thug and that he went to Stanford. I'm amazed at the speed in which Sherman was the aggressor and is now portraying himself as the victim. I guess it would be just terrible if he couldn't earn millions of dollars because he was suspended for the first chunk of his next contract.

I’ll give him the benefit on thug. This doesn’t make one a thug. It makes one a lot of bad things, but not what he was distancing from when he said that. And….fuck it….why am I even defending him.

He’s always been just a more eloquent thug. That’s what I’ve always seen.

I haven’t seen this said here yet, so I’ll say it.…he’s smart enough to concoct a CTE/I’m going to off myself “excuse” on the fly if he thinks it will help him facing the music for losing his shit.

Or….maybe I’ve been watching too many videos lately of sane people trying to concoct an insanity defense out of thin air.

We'll see. It's probably good for all parties involved, that he's going to be signing his last contract (whoever it's with).

The guy's burned through whatever goodwill he ever had. The video speaks for itself. From the story being told by the father-in-law, Sherman was one door kicked in away from being shot and killed.
