Front offices are under enormous pressure from owners to get their #2 or #11 overall pick onto the field immediately, to sell jerseys. I'd have thought that smart championship runs would generate more money, but maybe I'm wrong.

Probably some kind of reverse Moneyball thing going on, where the more retarded a fit someone like JaMarcus Russell or Johnny Manziel can be into the offense, the more millions can be generated.

Even when Cleveland DOES get the position right, they do something stupid like replace him with the most scandal-plagued QB the League has seen since Ron Mexico.
