Saban is done.

It’s over. We will still win 9 or 10 games a year with him but being a National Power is done. Sark Punked us tonight.

Don’t cry because it’s over, Smile because it happened. Was a great 15 or so years and will probably never be matched….but It’s Over. Saban will probably retire at the end of the year.

I just hope Saban doesn’t Bobby Bowden this thing.

Meh Georgia been sleep walking too, it happens
Hard to say. We've not played a team with a pulse and you have played one.

That said, we actually have a QB who can throw and complete a forward pass, and 2 behind him that if called on would do just fine. Our D is also considerably better than yours, IMO. Man, I was texting my son who was at the game ... "do you have anyone who can pass?" Evidently not. First time in a long time you've not had a stud at QB.

We have the luxury of an easy schedule based on early returns:
USCjr
UAB
@Auburn
Kentucky
@Vanderbilt
UF
Mizzou
Ole Miss
@UTjr
@GaTech

We get USCjr at home, and they've not looked good. @Auburn could be a game ... they always play better at home, and Freeze will have them ready. But we get everyone else with a pulse in Athens until UTjr. They better figure out their QB situation by then.

This gives us time to get Beck more comfortable and get past a lot of injuries we have right now.

Saban just needs to learn to treat the players like he has the Boosters and media at Bama since he got there and stop catering to them. He needs to tell that QB that he is not a pro style QB and that yall are going to run alot of read option if he still wants to play QB (which is a scary thought, the kid can fly). He does that, Bama will be ok.
He needs to ask Deion for advice when they tape those Aflac commercials

Bro this is the worst QB play we had since Brodie got hurt and we threw Marc Guillon and Spencer Pennington out there
He should have gone after Spencer Sanders. He is way batter than Milroe and has beaten texas a few times. Now he's just rotting on the bench at Ole Miss.

I will say, there’s not a team in the SEC that looks scary at all this year for UGA’s playoff chances. I think I know how OSU fans felt before Harbaugh became Day’s daddy
SEC outside of UGA is dogshit. I still shockingly think Alabama is the best team in the West. UGA has not been impressive IMO but they still won’t be stressed until the CFP.

I just don’t understand how he didn’t go after a QB. Rumors were he tried to Tamper with Maye and Tyler Van Dyke but idk

Hell he could have gotten Sam Hartman instead of ND probably had he tried. Nothing you can do except Milroe grow and learn through cause Buchner is not the answer

Bro, did you read my comments on the QB?

Aside from the QB, the rest of the team played about as bad as any Saban coached team has ever played, IMO. During the game I made a comment to my wife that if we had a competent QB, we would still be in a dog fight because when things go right, someone else fucks it up. My hope is Saban looks at the game film and see's what I saw, a QB that got so shell shocked that when he dropped back he was already looking for his avenue to run, not his progression of receivers to throw to.

Saban is not the problem, he is a catalyst of them, but he is not the problem. We have a long season ahead of us. My hope is Saban see's what I saw, and realizes that Milroe, while being mega talented, is not mentally ready(and may never be) to be a starter. We have USF coming up next, and that game would be a good time to put in Buchner and Simpson for the majority of the game, if not all of it. See what you have in those two QB's in game time conditions. Milroe has shown his cards, and they came up as jokers. Lets see if we have a player, who in game time situations, is holding a couple of aces. If so, carefully explain to Milroe that he is not being benched, but moved into a second string role, with some wildcat option plays put in that will showcase his ability to both pass or scramble as needed.

Y'all will go undefeated. I wasn't insulting Georgia, it's simply like y'all are lions playing with your food. Your team is bored, will be bored with that schedule. We played a team with a pulse last night and shit down our leg.

Guy struggled with a shitty Nebraska team for 3 quarters. Please take him

Why Bama just can't seem to recruit offensive linemen is beyond me.
I'm no recruiting expert, but it looks like Bama is doing a good job recruiting OL. They just may not coaching them very well.

Yeah. The broadcast kept saying they got 3 guys on that line that are 350 plus. That’s massive for the NFL let alone college. They should be power running and play action, not slinging it all over the field. Granted some of those guys are freshmen, which is rare, even large talents need development at that position. It’s rare that a true freshman starts in any system. So I think it’s a lack of depth or just getting the big guys on the field early because they are physical specimens. If it’s the latter, expect growing pains no matter how highly rated they were out of high school.

Unless Saban's "lost the team", Bama will still be better than 95% of CFB. If he's "lost" them, different story.
