Saban takes a MASSIVE shot at Jimbo.

Any program that wasn’t paying players under the table before NIL wasn’t trying to win.
Paying them and not getting slapped down was the challenge. Teams had to chose how much they wanted to risk. USC did it and got sent into 10 years of oblivion.

They fucked up and cooperated. UNC proved if you basically tell the NCAA to fuck off, they won’t do shit

My favorite short clip of it. lol Mouth of the South....

Oh shit...taken down?? It's the "Some people think they're God...we build him up to be the czar of football....despicable."

I don't think it was as much of a shot at Jimbo as it was at the new way of doing things. He seems to be whining about it.

But sumpin' ain't adding up here. If Bama DIDN'T pony up significant NIL money to get the 2nd ranked recruiting class, then those guys are either some of the most altruistic players, they are willing to chance no NIL money now for NFL money later, or they are the dumbest bunch of recruits.
My guess is that they were explained what types of NIL would be available once they got there. That is what NIL was supposed to be ... "you come here, we have a wing of our building over here dedicated to helping you build your brand. Get NIL deals. We are the most well known team in America ... there will be NIL for you if you do it right." Not, "come here and we guarantee you $2 million per year." One of those appears to be the way it was supposed to be, the other the way some teams are doing it. Whether that is a violation or not, I have no idea. Seems so, but I am sure they have lawyers that say otherwise.

tweet already deleted.
Yep. It was by a guy who does the "Swamped" podcast. So, it was probably taken down rather than his voluntary removal.

Wow. What a great ratings ploy for the aTm v Bama game! lol

Apparently he also went nuclear about Miami hoops and Deion Sanders? And this is all because they were one fucking spot behind A&M in FB recruiting rankings?

That fuckin pipsqueak done lost all of his marbles. :pound:
Had a full blown temper tantrum.

Splitting hairs. There is no difference between "sign here and we will get you a $2M NIL deal" and "Everyone who signs with us gets a $2M NIL deal" or even "the last person in your situation signed with us and got a $2M NIL deal".
