San Diego State to the P12

Just an example....

Amazon Prime has yet to come in higher than 6th for NFL tv ratings. That's WITH having their own night (Thursday) and not competing with Sunday games.
To add to that the Sunday games are typically regional so those 'broadcast' games are divided up on a national scale.

it might be in more than ESPN. lot of cord cutting. no more cable and satellite. ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox are just there.

People still get ESPN with Hulu, Sling, Youtube TV and Directv Stream.

You don't need a physical cable or satellite TV hookup to get ESPN. There's some other streaming live TV services that carry it is well.

Big misconception that you need to be on the cord still to be able to watch ESPN

prime is in more households nation wide than Pac 12 N

Of course. However, Prime is not in more households than any of ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN, by themselves.

LMFAO.

There is no way in hell that Prime is in more households than ESPN. ESPN is on every cable, satellite, and streaming service.

People east of the Rockies aren't going to pay $14.99 for Amazon Prime 'Just to get PAC 12 football'.

No more than they'd pay extra to get the Longhorn Network.
prime is more than that and most already have it.
i have had family and friends go east for jobs or military and they coulndt watch Pac 12 network. People have Amazon Prime because of ordering off Amazon and movies and shows.

so you are ragging on a streaming service by arguing for streaming services?

7.82 M seems like a big numbers but you have to factor in that the NFL games get more viewers than NCAAF does to begin with.

The highest watched CFB games so far this year are

11.56 M
10.56 M
10.53 M

That fails in comparison to the top NFL games on the weekly.

No, i'm saying people specifically watch ESPN to watch ESPN still.

No one is going out of their way to watch shitty 10PM EST kickoff Pac 12 games on Amazon.

Move over Cable, Direct TV, DISH, HULU, YOUTUBE TV, Sling, and broadcast channels.

Amazon Prime is here with the PAC 12 Network.

LMFAO!!

they dont watch the 10pm kicks on ESPN either. but thats time zone and perception. the USC CAL game sounds like trash but it was a good game in the end

The Oregon fans seriously think people are going to be jumping on Amazon to watch crappy Pac 12 matchups more than they do to watch the crappy NFL matchups.

Prime video has more subs than all other streaming services other than Netflix.

Is Prime planning to offer the PAC 12 games on Tuesday and Friday nights?

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are already taken by ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and ESPN.

I'm just using Thursday night NFL (Prime) in comparison to Sunday games.

They have zero other NFL games for competition on Thursday nights and still can't break through higher than 6th.

for basketball 100%. football on a friday night oh my gosh like its never been done before. unheard of.

what Sunday and monday college games are you watching?

Exactly. That was my point.

If they can't get people to watch the NFL, they are really going to struggle to get views for Pac 12 games that nobody outside of alumni really care about.

In a world that is leaning and driving toward cutting cable and going to streaming services, Amazon is one of the most popular ones. And again, Amazon inherits PAC-12 games it isn't like they are just going to hold onto them and quietly air them. They'll promote the hell out of their schedule. Using TNF also as a platform too.

Next is the massive Amazon deal announced.

PAC-11 will be the PAC-12 shortly as another school will choose to join after hearing the Amazon deal. *hears the phone ringing. It's the B1G with an offer.* fuck you PAC and your amazon deal. I'm out

Dude theres tons of streaming services that carry ESPN you are completely ignoring that.

They promote the hell out of Thursday night football and can't push out big viewer numbers. You have to be some kind of mongoloid to believe theyll succeed in pushing Pac 12 matchups no one cares much about to begin with
