Scott Frost is trying to get fired now.....

OP Scott Frost was finally successful at something

There's been rumors of gambling being the excuse for a while, I'm doubtful of them.
I heard infidelity, partying, Frank Solich type stuff.

If it's deserved...fuck him if he couldn't get motivated to care
I’m more like who cares, ancient history, onward and upward ~ oh no, some Meatchicken tool here will think I’m calling for a Natty this year

I mean it makes me feel even less bad for the guy, fuck him.

I am reading even worse things about Frost. Ticket holders should be royally pissed at what has gone on for over four years. I am thinking the old prick Trev was totally justified Sunday.

Itll all come out eventually

The Nebraska fan base already admitted their days of being nationally elite are over. So no one will think you will be calling for a natty.

It is highly entertaining reading all the new excuses why Scott Frost failed at Nebraska.

Not sure what the point is of trashing the guy.

There doesn't seem to be anyone claiming he shouldn't have been fired. His record justifies that. The only questioning of it seems to be whether or not they should have drug it out for another 2-3 weeks to save some money.

I also haven't seen or heard any reports of Frost trashing Nebraska or claiming he was fired unfairly.

So what gives?

When you find out he wasnt actually giving it his all for the ENTIRE time hes been here (not just recently) it really makes a bit more sense why he wasnt getting everything out of his players. The guy is trashing himself as news comes out about how he actually performed in his duties (or lack thereof)

I had felt bad for the guy when i thought he was trying his hardest and just couldnt get it done, now i say fuck him... thats what gives :D

Seems odd that nobody saw this in the last 5 years ??
My guess is Frosts "boys" either didnt care or that was the expectation and it wasnt until frost was forced to fire his boys that the assistants that were brought in started going to the new AD (who knows maybe Moos was complacent)

You can be sure there was some sort of NDA signed by Frost to be let go now (instead of Oct 1st) and paid the full buyout.

The NDA likely contains language that Frost can't trash the university and they in-turn won't trash him either. That was evident in Trev Alberts presser where he talked about systemic changes that needed to be made, yet was sure to say "That's not to imply Frost wasn't doing those things". He side-stepped it with they just need a "new voice" in the program with Mickey Joseph.

It's not the university trashing Frost, it's the media. The media indeed saw the things we're now hearing about, but didn't/couldn't report it for fear of being black-balled from press conferences and access to players/coaches.
Having press conference credentials and access to players/coaches after practice is their livelihood. A lot of this stuff was simply unverified rumors, but is now being verified by people close to the program.

The people reporting on the state of the program have good knowledge of the goings on. Mike'l Severe is very good friends with Damon Benning. They have a popular radio show together (Severe and Benning in the Morning).
Damon Benning was in Frost's wedding.

Mike'l Severe is finally cutting loose in his criticism of what he's been witnessing for years under Frost.
On the other hand Benning is side-stepping a lot of it because Frost is a good buddy of his going way back to 1996.
Benning was Orange Bowl MVP when Frost was QB.

Things are leaking that the Nebraska golf team had complained to the AD (not sure if Moos or Alberts) that Frost and his assistants were spending a lot of time occupying the golf simulator that was installed for the golf team to practice.
When they complained to Frost and company they were likely scoffed at and told to fuck off. JMO

Football runs the show in Lincoln.

Okay, that makes sense. It's not the university, it's just local media essentially confirming what it seems like a lot of folks at least suspected.

Sounds a lot like USC during the Kiffin and Sark years. Especially Sarks.
