SEC Basketball

Suck it FSU...

I like this young new team.

I like where the Tide is at right now. Missing one of our best players and already got 3 Q1 wins in the bag. And we haven’t played anywhere near our best ball yet.

Might (and I'm guessing will) get your 3rd tomorrow. Definitely don't have 3 as of now.

Rutgers is Gonna end up being a Q1. Harper and Bailey are the real deal

It's no guarantee. They lost to Kennesaw State with both of them. Only beat ND by a point. Harper and Bailey are amazing, but Rutgers hasn't looked good this year.

Nope. They have a bad loss, beat ND by one, beat Merrimack by 11 and Saint Peters by 10. Doubt they will be top 50 at year's end.

Gators are rolling along nicely.. beat Wake Forrest yesterday and curb stomping Wichita state by 46 points in the espn invitational at The Mouse House.

Sooners just won the Battle for Atlantis tournament. 7-0 baby

Excellent start for the Sooners. And another early miss by the preseason "experts" blindly rating teams.

Secret scrimmages are not much to begin with. But I was a little "meh" when told Marquette beat OU by only 10. Everyone was talking like that team was gonna be SEC trash.

Nope. Lotta nice pieces. Fears is a stud. SEC will still be a gauntlet for them though

We lost Latrell Wrightsell. MASSIVE loss for Bama. He is by far our best shooter.

We need Chris Youngblood back ASAP

Bama has played nowhere near their A game haven’t had one of their best players and still has picked up 2 Q1 wins so far. Bama will still be the best in the SEC come March. Congrats on your November National Title.

Kentucky blew the SEC/ACC challenge sweep for the day.

I would just like to point out that you were the guy last year that said your team was terrible and couldn’t play defense at the beginning of the year last season. You also have an obsession with Q1 wins to the point of bragging about them and that is weird. Some how you don’t seem to understand that your team tied Auburn in conference rankings last year and Auburn actually won the SEC tournament. Auburn lost by a few points in Tuscaloosa to you guys and put a 100 on you in Auburn. In fact if Tennessee’s Knecht hadn’t channeled Michael Jordon and had one of the best performances shooting I’ve ever seen in SEC play against Auburn we win the conference last year.

You have a good team but it’s VERY dependent on Mark Sears so I’d be praying he stays healthy and can go the minutes you need him to two nights a week or you’re in trouble.

The SEC is going to be super strong this year with multiple teams being able to beat anyone on any given night so your belief that your two loss team is the top team in the conference is ridiculous, arrogant and ignorant.

You’ve got a really good team but it’s a very long season and it’s going to be a blood bath in the conference. My advice is hunker down and stay humble or this season is going to do it for you.

Figures the top 2 ranked SEC teams lose and everybody else wins.

It was actually fairly close to being SEC 16-0 which is just ludicrous.

The 2 wins were big wins tho

I'm starting to wonder if the SEC really is this good, or they've just played the ACC a bunch of times.
