So, this is how it should be. Texas and Oklahoma are assimilated into the west division. Alabama & Auburn are moved to the east division. Mizzou is moved to the west. There are nine conference games each season, 7 in division plus a rotating 2 from the other division. All SEC teams will pay each other at least once within each 4-year period. The Texas-Oklahoma, Alabama-Tennessee, and Auburn-Georgia annual rivalries will be preserved. The fake permanent cross-divisional pairings will die (as will their friends). By the time this reorg is implemented, the SEC will have upgraded to full time professional officiating crews (some currently officiating may have to move on). Better conference. Better football. SEC.
Who gets schtupped by this? Misery. They joined the SEC to get out of having to play Texas and OK every year. They're back! HA HA HA! Whatcha gonna do? Quite the SEC and join another conference? Leave the money on the table?
Alas, poor TAMU. You have to play Texas every year once again. Well, it took the Alabama State Legislature, but Auburn and Bama are doing it, so can you two.
