SEC Thread (for former B12 members so they don’t have to slum anymore)

I mean Nebraska did make a conference championship game, so it is an improvement over what a name brand Big10 team that is back as often as Texas is back.
That doesn't count when you play in the short bus division of the B1G

5. Meechigan State (8-1)

Last week the Wolverines occupied the Coveted Fifth Spot after Jim Harbaugh lost to Michigan State once again. And once again, an entire fan base had no idea how the Coveted Fifth Spot works and sent me a torrent of blue and maize Tweets that contained more f-bombs and threats of bodily harm than Sunday's "Yellowstone" season premiere. Far be it from us to not include entire populations of states, now State finds itself in this regrettable state after following up its upset win over Michigan with an upset loss to Pur-don't.
We reached out to Florida head coach Dan Mullen for reaction to the Gators not being in this spot, but he was unavailable for comment because he was busy not recruiting.

The division had Michigan, Michigan State, and Iowa

I forget. Who was the Leader and who was the Legend?

So, this is how it should be. Texas and Oklahoma are assimilated into the west division. Alabama & Auburn are moved to the east division. Mizzou is moved to the west. There are nine conference games each season, 7 in division plus a rotating 2 from the other division. All SEC teams will pay each other at least once within each 4-year period. The Texas-Oklahoma, Alabama-Tennessee, and Auburn-Georgia annual rivalries will be preserved. The fake permanent cross-divisional pairings will die (as will their friends). By the time this reorg is implemented, the SEC will have upgraded to full time professional officiating crews (some currently officiating may have to move on). Better conference. Better football. SEC.

Who gets schtupped by this? Misery. They joined the SEC to get out of having to play Texas and OK every year. They're back! HA HA HA! Whatcha gonna do? Quite the SEC and join another conference? Leave the money on the table?

Alas, poor TAMU. You have to play Texas every year once again. Well, it took the Alabama State Legislature, but Auburn and Bama are doing it, so can you two.

Mizzu didn't leave because of UT/ou, they felt that they belonged in the BiG since it matched the academic side. They were the first school to begin shopping itself.. they were lucky to get a SEC invite because that's not (probably still not) the place they want to be (BiG).

also.. they are going to pods

Pod players? Grown on vines under athletes’ beds? Nah, pass.

That's bullshit because if you ranked the SEC by academics Missouri would be 8th out of the current 14 teams. Auburn would be 5th by the way.

You guys just make shit up.
