TV Series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

They are really throwing a lot of characters into this show. So far confirmed:
DareDevil
Jessica Jones
Man Bull
El Aguila

Rumored:
The Thing
Porcupine
Mr. Immortal
Saracen (Which probably introduces us to Blade)
The Thing?

No way are they going to debut Ben Grimm on this show.

if they show him pre-Thing, then they are locking themselves into the actor 3 years before the movie. If they are showing him (even in the background) then they will have to make the movie either post-origin or as a “5 years ago…” narrative. It would also lock them into his look (one of the reasons they decided to scrap showing Galactus in Love & Thunder).

I think it will be Ben Grimm pre-the Thing, although recent reports suggest that the next F4 movie won't be a introductory movie, all characters will be pre-established.

Not unheard of. They did that with Spidey.

I just find it hard to believe they will introduce an actual F4 member in this show. And essentially introduce the 616 F4 in this show (JK was not 616, though he is still in consideration to play the 616 Richards).

We will see…

the FF existing in another universe means they exist already in this one, right?

so if Richards is already Mr Fantastic, that would mean Ben is already The Thing in She-Hulk

Pretty sure the Jason Segel as the Thing rumor has been said to be wrong.

Not necessarily. Xavier does not exist in 616. And Peter Parker is different people entirely depending on the universe, and they existed in slightly different timelines.

The screenwriter must have been on meth when he did this.

And which screenwriter?
unsurprisingly, I don't think Gigi grasps how hard it must be to pull however many years of movies into one universe when some of these movies were not part of the MSU plan when they were written.

so to bring in the X Men or Spiderman or FF into the universe they have built around Iron Man and Captain America is no easy task...so I give them credit for being creative when they can.

They really aren't going to be building off the old FF movies as they are rebooting it just not starting with an origin story that has been done twice now. As for X-Men everyone is going to be recast so I don't think the FOX versions are going to be canon.

It's more impressive that they are trying to pull in the Netflix shows although if I was them I would pick and choose. Most are fine but if they forgot that Iron Fist ever happened that would be a good thing because that was the biggest Marvel miss so far.

All other versions (X-verse and both previous F4 franchises) will be/are canon. Just like Maguire and Garfield are canon Spidies. They will simply exist in other universes that likely won’t be visited (it would be weird seeing Cap and Killmonger walking around as Firestorm).

Upon rewatch, I enjoyed iron fist much more than initial viewing. Maybe that is because I went in with very low expectations, though. Defenders was a giant turd, though. Man was that bad.

I thought Defenders was better than Iron Fist. I really like the Iron Fist character and they did missed big time. Luke Cage was good and Jessica Jones was good but they screwed up Iron Fist.

I think one of the reasons I liked IF was because of Finn Jones. I don’t know if he actually knows any martial arts, but it LOOKED like he knew what he was doing. As compared to Ritter’s Frankenstein’s monster impression she did throughout her appearances. They always made a point of doing strategic camera cuts anytime she demonstrated her powers, but IF got close ups and extended takes for his fight scenes.

I cringe everything I see the promo. I don't get it, and it seems kind of stupid.

She is kinda like Deadpool in that she constantly breaks the 4th wall. I worry that it will be stupid, but I am trying to go in with an open mind.

Lots to complain about, but most of it has already been complained about.

Overall, not that bad of a first episode.

Stick around, though. There is a mid-credit scene. And it is pretty good.
