Smart on scheduling tough OOC

I think going over 2 is overboard but they are kind of the preseason game for the team.

Perhaps CFB needs a preseason game. This week could be the start of them.
Ideally for us with GaTech sucking:

2 patsies - GaTech and say Rice, or UAB, or Kent State.
9 IC
1 tough OOC

I have to admit that if Tech got really good again, which isn't likely to happen, then it's a different story. USCjr plays Clemson every year, they don't need another tough OOC. UF has FSU and if they ever get good again that will come into play.

Tennessee has been doing the 1/3 lately. When we were good, we scheduled harder. For example 2001 schedule was Syracuse, Memphis, and Notre Dame.

cupcake teams -- your starters are resting on the sideline after halftime. Or are you under the impression that when someone like Georgia goes up 42-0 at halftime against Sister Mary's School for the Blind -- they throw out their starters to go up by 100?
The things is that everyone has them. Usually the team who goes into the playoffs with the highest points margin/ opportunities to rest players is Bama but that's just a benefit of being that good

so what you are saying is that the starters are playing a half and can still get hurt? what you are saying is the 2s and 3s playing in the second half doesnt matter if they get hurt or that they cant get hurt?

Interestingly, Bama had to play way deeper into games last year than normal.

It's the earliest we were pulling players that I've ever seen.
