2 things ...
1. If GOR are so easy to walk away from, how come your team is waiting until 2025? Why haven't you simply moved to the SEC?
2. You are conflating two concepts - an exit fee and the GOR. They are different. For the ACC, it's about $50 million. But a GOR means that the team has given the rights to its media to the ACC. If a team were to leave the ACC and go to the SEC, whatever they made in the SEC would be paid to the ACC, not the team. So, Clemson, as an example, would give up all revenue from 2023-2036, which would be way more than half a billion dollars.
Now, the SEC could say we will pay it for you but only if whatever value you bring to us is so much more incrementally that we all make enough money to cover it. That won't happen.
But, back to your dismissive attitude about the GOR ... how come if it is so easy to get out of it, you haven't.
