That’s debatable…many teams go into the red to participate in bowl games due to travel/logistics.

Network(s) gets ad revenue, bigger teams/bowls make a little…but other than a little cash they’re very expendable imo.

They have most definitely lost any pride/bragging rights. Hell, with the SEC and B1G swelling it fucked up many established tie-ins, no?
