Speaking of wood floors

No, all the base is coming out.

What is your idea on new trim?

Match your flooring or do something that will contrast the new flooring...

Are you going to trim out the doors or keep it the same....

Probably just a higher profile base and wrap the casings with the same stuff. Painted white like the trim throughout

Glad the demo portion is done, as I have been dreading it for years now. Now I will be just sitting and waiting for my material.

That's how it was with me and the the brick pavers that were located in my foyer, formal dining, kitchen, laundry and pantry. Hated them for years and was so fucking happy once they were finally demoed. Of course I hired some Mexicans to demo it. It was a mess.

This is the DIY forum ma'am. Please direct your posts about supporting illegal immigrants to the Scuzzy Person forum. Thank you.

makes me think of:

So waiting for my material, and patience isn't my strong suit. I have some tile for my risers, that has almost the same texture as the feature wall of my game room. I also have LED lights that shine down the wall. So for a $40 kit, I got an LED set up for the stairs. Had to manufacture an electrical box to house an outlet, the LED control box, and 12v adapter, and allow for the remote control sensor to be exposed.

Only blank cover plate I had has a scratch in it, of course. But the little hole is where the remote sensor is. I plastic JB welded the control box to the back side of the cover plate.
