When they do the checkerboard at Tennessee, they let it be known beforehand, and tell people if your in section a wear orange, in b wear white etc. It's really not difficult.I always assumed when I see a perfect color-out that goes by sections that a shirt was placed on each seat. Don't think that gets the cost into the millions. For the A&M red/white/blue game in 2001 it was done by levels and each shirt was bought before the game for $5.
