Stetson Worthington Bennet IV to the Rams in the 4th

I don’t get all the negative hype. The dude had 6 TDs in the last Natty.

4 TDs in SEC championship game against LSU
Let the doubters, doubt. I dare anyone to look at that 5 play TD drive against tOSU in the Peach Bowl and tell me how you can doubt. He threw the TD open. He threaded the needle twice on long pass plays down field. Under the most intense pressure there is. Let the haters hate.

plenty of time for the 26 year old rookie to sit and learn.
I don't really think that's the burn you think it is. Now that he's been drafted his maturity is a good thing. He's football smart ... there are a lot of QBs playing from 25-35 ... he has plenty of time.

I had to go back and watch the 2023, 2022 Natty and 2023 SEC championship on YouTube. Started the OSU game.

Dude looks legit. Then you add in what he’s gonna learn at the Rams.

Im not expecting anything big soon but he’s been big in big games. Same age as Joe Burrow.

It’s also not going to mean anything if we get a good Oline and Mcvay call a balanced game

Where's JT Daniels

So, is Cam Akers the RB again?

But that was against TCU and LSU.

Plenty of good defensive players on TCU and LSU. OSU too. Watch the 2022 Natty against BAMA. He certainly didn’t get outplayed by Bryce Young

I don’t get the noodle arm comments. He might not have the arm of Levis, but he hit plenty of deep passes, and not just to wide open receivers.

Bennett’s only issue is his size(he’s taller than Bryce Young, but is still short for a QB and pretty skinny) and he didn’t become a full time starter until his redshirt senior season(or would have been if Covid didn’t booger up eligibility)

It's a no brainer for Rams. I don't get all the SB foo fooing by the people that are supposed to know what they are talking about in football. All the guy has ever done is win. If my game was on the line and I had to put someone in I'd pick him.

Too short? Never affected him to date so why would it matter as much now? The people making this analysis on him seem like they are just parroting the conventional wisdom because they dont have any other way to put hjs abilities down yet again, but he has been playing behind lines of the same size for a few years now and won 2 natty doing it.

It's a solid pick, I'd have taken him sooner.

I would rather the Titans have drafted Stetson Bennett (or Hendon Hooker) than Will Levis... ugh...

Frankly, Titans should have kept Dobbs.

Titans had such a dumbass draft. First pick was an offensive linemen from a 1-11 Northwestern team and then the second pick was a mediocre UK QB that threw three INTs against Tennessee's secondary...

Arm strength as in ball speed / velocity while getting the ball to the sidelines. Bennett may not have the arm strength as most in the NFL but it's not the end all be all, Stetson has a lot of other good traits that will make him effective at the next level

And when he has as much experience as Joe Burrows in the NFL he will be over 30, unless he starts next season.

All he needs to be able to do is hold a clipboard, because it is all he is qualified to do in the NFL. That was a waste of a 4th round pick, when a lot of talent was still available.
