That’s always the case. Every now and then if you buy generic milk in the grocery that typically goes through one less process in the pasteurization and the cows got into some wild onions then it will come out in the milk.I used to buy only grass-fed half a beef once a year. Back then, I could still eat organ meat. The biggest taste difference was in the liver.
If you eat enough venison, it is easy to tell if they are corn field deer or forest deer by taste. The same with geese. You can tell if the geese have been feeding in fields or on water plants.
