There is no 'official' announcement from the Sugar Bowl or ESPN on this. A local media station dropped it on Twitter and it spread.

I assume it's a fluid situation, but at this point it seems it's gonna be played as scheduled. .
 
I’ve seen game will go on as scheduled, will be played tomorrow at 7:30 and will be played tomorrow at one all from usually reliable sources, so who knows. Just play the game at LSU’sstadium and call it a day

The logistics of delaying the game until tomorrow, moving it, etc. would be egregious.

Fans alone would have to change schedule, hotel, and travel arrangements.
 
I'd be surprised if it's played tonight. Too many leaks have already come out about postponing it. Stinks for sure.

Yeah, but if they’re still finding explosives and not enough police available for security, they probably won’t have a choice.

Moving the game also means the winner will have a two day rest disadvantage for the next round too
 
McMurphy just tweeted it's postponed to tomorrow. He's rarely wrong, if ever.

It's already been confirmed as moving to tomorrow. ABC news just reported it.
