I think Taylor was a good guy, and I like Grohl as a person as well. This is a big loss for the Foo Fighters and music world. Yeah others can do what he did, but he was the right guy for that band. Like Ringo with the Beatles. Not even the best drummer in the band, but the right guy for that group. 50 is too young.

Other than the Foo Fighters, which he'll obviously be remembered for, he was in Alanis Morissette's band when she toured on one of the great albums from the 90s. He was a fine drummer. Don't know why this would be the thread anyone wants to shit on his drumming chops, either way.
