It's pouring here and the kids wanted to watch a movie after the fiasco of buying mom a car this morning. So, I saw in on Vudu's free movie choices and put it on. (Netflix and Prime are no longer allowed in this house) I'd never seen it, but it had 5 stars.

I sat and watched the last 45 minutes while plorsting, having seen a bit of the first half while doing other stuff. The inferences of religious workings and moral backings were pretty solid. Everything happened for a reason n sech....

The 2nd redbone dying of heartbreak tore-me-up brah! I suppose it did because of parallels in my own existence.

8 and 9 years olds, actually, were watching. However, the movie really requires parental supervision to draw attention to the strong moral undertones.
As a kid growing-up way out in the country with a dog for a bestie, it was like watching my own youth.
