Tears rolling down my face.....

It's been a few decades since I've read/seen that story, but I'm sure if he right there with you if I was it today. How did you watch it?

One of my favorite movies as a kid, one of the few books I enjoyed reading as well.

But, Old Yeller >>>

Cant Speak Nathan Fillion GIF

Damn kindle autocorrect, plus buzzing, kids acting a fool, and not double checking before posting. It should have read "I'd be right there with you if I saw it today".

I'll accept all ridicule and appreciate your restraint, lol.

Oh fuck....no judgement on you on that one. That movie is a destroyer!

It's pouring here and the kids wanted to watch a movie after the fiasco of buying mom a car this morning. So, I saw in on Vudu's free movie choices and put it on. (Netflix and Prime are no longer allowed in this house) I'd never seen it, but it had 5 stars.

I sat and watched the last 45 minutes while plorsting, having seen a bit of the first half while doing other stuff. The inferences of religious workings and moral backings were pretty solid. Everything happened for a reason n sech....

The 2nd redbone dying of heartbreak tore-me-up brah! I suppose it did because of parallels in my own existence.

Is this the new Hoop's version of the Dear John thread?

What kind of fheg cries over a movie about some shitty red bushes?

Is this where the Judy Blume book club hangs out?

Old Yeller is a fag (flips quarter to Thom Breneman)

He spent all day and night chopping down that huge tree - just because he promised his dogs! I just can't get over it....

Jesus that book scarred me, I wouldn't watch the movie if you paid me.

is that for like 10 year olds? im thinking in 6 and 7 might still be too young for it.
8 and 9 years olds, actually, were watching. However, the movie really requires parental supervision to draw attention to the strong moral undertones.
As a kid growing-up way out in the country with a dog for a bestie, it was like watching my own youth.

Had never seen the movie or read the book.

Just watched it.

I was fine until Little Ann had to go and lay down on Old Dan's grave after they buried him.

Fuck that movie. lol
