Is a loss of scholarships really that impactful anymore, in light of NIL?

I don't think it really is. It used to be in the "OMG they over signed!" days but roster attrition is so severe now because of immediate transfer eligibility, it wouldn't shock me if teams regularly lost 1/3 of their signed classes throughout the 4 years of eligibility.
