GAME Tennessee @ Georgia 2:30 CST CBS

Who is the backup?

We have two options. One was one of the highest ranking freshmen recruits, Brandon Harrison. Some TN fans were clamoring for him to start. JG is very controversial as you see from his play. Maurer started some last year and did good until he got hurt. He gets hurt easy and is more prone to throw INTO.

You'd think the players would learn to not take their helmet off. That shit cost us the Tennessee game in 2016(to go with an ill advised squib kick)

Maurer started against us last year. He looks pretty decent until he got hurt, so I guess that confirms what you said about him.

I don't know if I've ever seen this big of a meltdown from a QB. He had a real good first half, but the second half has just been a disaster.

this is the most unaware qb i’ve ever seen play

He has been like that his whole career, one game he is amazing and the next he looks like he doesn't even belong on FBS football.

We probably need to find a new QB. I have stuck with him hoping he would improve and it doesn't look that way.

HS coach made us wear our helmets at all times on the field or off. Friend of mine lifted his when he came off the field as to get around that rule to "cool off". While he had the mask on top of his head a turnover happened on the field and when our sideline exploded one of the players coming off the field ran into him for a celebratory head butt and his mask broke off 4 of his upper front teeth in half.

He has thrown some good balls this year and earlier in this game but he has gotten sloppy in the second half. Granted some of it UGA's defense, its good but some of it is him being careless with the ball. I figured UT would nab a transfer with some experience after last season.

Good Game Georgia. We are obviously a pretender. Defense can compete against top dogs but not offense.

I will say this, Georgia has played unbeaten teams every game and will likely get one next week as well. Georgia has survived the most difficult schedule so far.

I hated the first half, but loved the second half. Tennessee is an improved team, but they’re not there yet. Hung in for a half, but you can’t shoot yourself in the foot that many times and pull off an upset.

Game was closer than the final score, but I’m pleased with the defense. Offense isn’t bad but needs some work if we’re gonna stand a Chance next week

And Stetson Bennett is as good of a backup as you’re gonna find, but I feel like we have a higher ceiling(and admittedly possibly a lower floor) with JT Daniels

But, Georgia wins a "rivalry" game and Florida loses.

Braves also make it to the NLCS for the first time since I was 10.

No lie, this might be the all around best week in sports for me since I've been old enough to know what's going on(I remember my parents reaction to the Braves winning the WS, but have no memory of the actual series)

Probably just building me up to tear me down with UGA getting Bama and the Braves getting the Dodgers next week.

Yeah. Our OLine didn't live up to hype today either.
True that, but that is by far the best front 7 you will see all year, probably be a lot with the exception of Bama. And those 2 long passes notwithstanding, that's one of the best secondaries you will face. We rotate at least 22 guys all game long at D. If we can get our O going better we are going to be salty. Next week will be interesting.

You had to go there. Couldn't you have waited until tomorrow?

Called this one out of the gate. Said Vols would lose by at least 20.
