How many more will they need. I think is push comes to shove ND would go with them. They could legitimately add Cincinnati or UConn. Two new states to them, one with a huge history in hoops and the other is an up and comer in both the big ones.Who else would the ACC add? ACC commish is staying at my hotel, I'll tell him to add WVU
I agree WVU is in a better spot then last time. Still think markets and academics will matter. Both aren’t exactly on our side.JMO but nah, the markets wont mean as much now with internet TV going strong. I think WVU is in a better position now than they were a few years ago.
WVU should be reaching out to the ACC immediately.I agree WVU is in a better spot then last time. Still think markets and academics will matter. Both aren’t exactly on our side.
at the end of the day..money talks.. and I doubt they are all scared of Bama like that.. UF was swinging toe to toe with them last year for a good stretch and that was most likely the best Bama team under SabanSome of the smaller SEC members very well might nix the deal. If you're Florida...Georgia..Tennessee and you're avoiding Bama every year; you don't want to flip things around and make that a reality. The only benefit for some of the lesser schools is the financial gain. Will that be enough to get them to vote for a system where they may not win anything anytime soon?
Definitely need to be proactive.WVU should be reaching out to the ACC immediately.
Tennessee gets to play Bama’s whipping boy every year. They’d probably be in favor just so UGA and Florida are now in the same boat as themSome of the smaller SEC members very well might nix the deal. I hope it does happen, because it will cause a dramatic domino effect throughout college football. And it likely means a 12 team playoff is imminent. No way this happens with a 4 team playoff in play. This says that Oklahoma can leave without Oklahoma State in tow.
Separate Board of Regents and the Legislature has no power.
Not sure I believe all that, but here it is.

Also how does Tobacco Road still feel on academics? I know they let in UL, but maybe they aren’t so forgiving this time around.
There won't be enough money available to make the SEC willing to put up with Texas' bullshit. They are a cancer that kills everything they touch.
"But we're TEXAS!" isn't just a meme.
