have we even played? If not I'm sure we can fit your FCS ass on the scheduleI know Texas has never beat Michigan State.

I remember hearing Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were tied at the hip too.I heard somewhere UNC is tied to the hip of NCst. Not sure the B1G would take them but maybe
bro this isn't about wins and losses or CFP paths.. it's all about media deals and the ACC isn't getting it done for the football first schools. Clemson isn't going to leave because it needs a better path, they will leave because the money is greater, and the home schedule will have more flair.I don't see any ACC teams leaving right now. The league is strong, they just need some of their teams (notably their Florida teams) to get better in football again. They got a lot of good brands. Big12 was Oklahoma, Texas, and perhaps West Virginia in football. There just isn't much brand power in the Big12. Big12 covers 5 states while the ACC covers 9-10 states and which includes far more people and large cities versus what the Big12 covers.
Not to mention the ACC Alliance with Notre Dame. Comparing the ACC and Big12 is probably apples and oranges.
I wonder how much state government would try to get involved they tried to do this and cut out schools. like would Texas care because their main school is in even though it cuts out UTEP and UTSA.The P5 and G5 need to separate now too once the dust settles. There will be no way any expansion happens after these moves, no G5 school will be able to bring in a market or value enough to take a slice of the pie. If you aren't fortunate to be part of the group now, you likely won't be. Cincy, UCF, Memphis, Houston.... good luck, looks like some current P5s may be joining you.
Fair pointI remember hearing Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were tied at the hip too.
ACC teams are locked in until 2036. It’s pretty ironclad per my understanding and ND is locked up for the same time period.I think SEC will still try to somewhat stay Southeast (at least initially). Clemson and FSU are the next logical step. After them would probably be North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and/or Miami.
Here is the thing though, I think the ACC and SEC get along better than the other leagues. I am not so sure the SEC would want to poach from the ACC, at least anytime soon. The ACC also has great TV potential with the foot print they cover. The ACC is far more healthy than the Big12. The only issue with the ACC is the same problem as the B1G, they are a one-team league right now. Still there is always potential FSU or Miami comeback to prominence.
I don’t see the NC schools giving up their control. That’s half the league.FSU and Clemson to the SEC; Virginia, UNC and Duke to the Big10 may just make the ACC dissolve.
I always wonder how things would have played out if Larry Scott accepted UT and LHN. Instead of saying no, he should have said yes, and exclude UT out of it's tier 3 rights. PAC Network would have immediately been picked up everywhere.. I also think ESPN would have significantly reduced the payout for LHN had they moved and who knows, by now it may have not existed anymore.
Do you REALLY think they will stay in B12 until 2025??Is OU & Texas too poor to join SEC before July 1, 2025?
I honestly think 2 teams get into the B1G and the conference remainders are well below contract levels for TV.Do you REALLY think they will stay in B12 until 2025??
I'd think that the "payout money" is just waiting for the word to hit "ENTER" to transfer the funds!![]()

Wow... offended much? I'm just surprised you were able to take the time away from fucking your sister to respond.Yeah, well you aren't in the conversation. We - our new OU and TX brethren - where poking fun at one another. We acknowledge that you have far more fat, homely corn fed bowlers than even Vandy. Congrats.
there isn't anything at the state level that ties Oklahoma and Oklahoma State to the hip. If anyone ever claimed that OU/Oklahoma State were tied to the hip, it was because they were naive and thought tradition would overrule any monetary compensation.I remember hearing Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were tied at the hip too.
