You are dead wrong. Wazzu fan is saying the PAC CANT negotiate in Texas because they have no provider relationships. You never mentioned anything like that.

Then you reach out to them dummy. Haven't you ever tried to get a new customer before?

Of course the PAC "can" negotiate in Texas. But they have no negotiating leverage.

Jesus fucking Christ, they will when a team from DFW is in there. You think no one is going to carry TCU games in DFW should the pac take TCU?

As @wazzu31 already mentioned, it's not going to happen. People with DISH can certainly elect to add the PAC-12 network, which is what the sports bars would do.

We get it Simple Jack, this gif fits you to a T

You or wazzu have no idea if it is, stupid. But you continue to pretend you do. It’s what makes you incredible stupid. But I guess no one will carry TCU games, aww shucks.

Do you even English, bro?

That isn’t what I said, and my bad if you took it that way. You cannot negotiate with a state or city I guess is how I phrased it. The Pac 12 does have relationships with cable providers in Texas and on certain packages right now they could get the main Pac 12 network.

You're going to confuse Simple Jack.

But TCU is where on the pecking order in DFW? The whole point of negotiations is bringing something to the table to get more money. The Pac 12 coming and saying look DirectTv we got TCU, they would say who and give the conference just as they have a low ball counter offer. Larry Scott I think pissed in their Cheerios and is why the conference didn’t have ACC revenue money.

Exactly. DFW doesn't care about TCU.

The pac 12 can negotiate though.

Cue mike telling everyone how he told us so but subsequently it’s nowhere to be found in this thread.

It’s still a chance though. The pac can say look we have USC or Washington playing against DFW hometown team. In basketball we have UCLA. It’s not impossible and really what other options does the pac have if it wants to expand?

Yeah...weird. How would anyone get that idea?

Where did you mention the pac had relationships with cable providers and retain packages on right now in Texas?

No one said TCU wouldn’t be on tv. They are part of the Big 12. Expanding when we have a contract is a legal issue and way over my head. But them coming in doesn’t bring enough revenue because we have an equal split. If TCU took a Utah deal where they got 25% then 50% then 75% then 100% for 4 year then yeah maybe it is worth a shot. I just don’t see how logically TCU brings anything to the conference, they don’t bring an entire market, doesn’t help recruiting. Just a longer flight and an extra mouth to feed.

If the provider picks it up though the conference still gets paid regardless of if anyone watches it or not.

Why would the provider pick it up if no one wants to watch it?

Cmon, Simple Jack. You can figure it out.
