The College FB Playoff Thread…powered by butthurt

A couple of days ago, everyone was ready to throw 6 feet of dirt on their faces. That didn’t work out. Alabama has shown they could be beaten, Washington has not.
And Washington is as healthy as they've been all year. They got big pieces back before this last game and it showed up big time.
Still, they haven't faced the size/speed/power combination in the trenches seen in the SEC and a few other teams around the sport.
Just don't know how they will stack up.

The playoff has been expanded to address this very problem so we probably won't ever see another like this, at least as far as teams of this caliber.

But if we cut the bullshit and get down to it the 4 best teams right now are Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Michigan. Georgia would be favored against any team except *maybe Alabama. Alabama would be favored against any team except *maybe UGA and Texas. And Michigan would be favored against anybody because they already know the plays.
Does the best team always win the World Series or the Super Bowl? Only the teams that win. Alabama, Texas, Georgia, ohio state and many others have forfeited their opportunity. Now, one has to hope the committee selects them.

Honestly they’re covering GA BEFORE FSU?

The problem with any west coast team v a Bama-like team is the battle of the trenches. The largest and most physical linemen don't typically end up in the Pac in the numbers needed to win the trench warfare.
I'm not sure a UW team can stop the run or slow up the pass rush enough to play their game fully.
Very true.. Washington is just a different style of team. Styles can make a fight. That is all I am saying. Michigan plays Washington in a phone booth, Washington gets pummeled. Make that game about your skill outside and play it in space, than watch out. TCU showed that

The best teams almost always get a shot in the postseason to win in those leagues. That's the distinction between this system and those, and thus why it has been changed.

We need your tv-antenna skills today!!!

Step up, poindexter.

It’s your time to shine.

It's amazing how you and OD mirror each other day-to-day, week-to-week.

Like I just told OD a couple minutes ago....

ESPN isn't over-the-air. It's going to be delayed whether you're on cable, satellite, or streaming.

The bullshit is the eye test, and who is playing the best right now. You don’t want to cut the bullshit, you want more bullshit piled in so you can pick what’s best for you.

Results matter. You don’t get to pretend that September never happened

i was worried because ESPN sent the most unattractive reporter to cover UT.. even Marty looked better than that woman.. then i see who was covering FSU.. think we are in :)
