Blue Oval has another truck planned. Dubbed the Ford Maverick, the upcoming light pickup will be the smallest in the range – yes, even smaller than the Ranger – and could share its underpinnings with one of Ford's unibody crossovers.

Meh

My dad loved the original Mavericks. Either bring those back or call this truck something else

looks like they want to challenge the Honda Ridgeline.

Never liked the original Maverick, even the Grabber. It seemed stuck in the Ford line up for no purpose and it wasn't sexy like a Mustang.

Even the Mustangs around for the last part of the Maverick's run weren't sexy as they were those Mustang IIs.

What’s with Ford re-using names for completely different vehicles? Why not call it a Courier or a Ranchero if they have to re-use a name.

they actually named the new vehicle for John McCain.

I never got the point of those ultra short bed trucks. The Avalanche looks retarded too.

They’re basically just cars with a bed and cars are useless when not on a race track

Let‘s take the bad parts of both vehicles and make one inconvenient car. None of the hauling capacity of a truck and none of the storage of a car.
